- Have a backup Plan
Whether its the weather, or the closing of restaurants, or your tickets may not be valid, it is advisable to have a backup plan, just incase your date goes on the rocky roads.
- Be sure to praise yur date without overdoing it
Compliments always makes people feel special, but overdoing it at the same time, for eg. about his/her looks, personality, body, can get pushed too far and become a desperate move.
- Be sure to talk and be a good listener as well
Keep in mind, you have to give the other person a chance to speak like just you would. So balance your time in such a way that you also listen.
- Make your date short and sweet
Sometimes short dates can be sweeter. Even a 1 hour date can seem treasurable. If you click with your date, you can plan on a second one. There's nothing worse than being together all day, when you know in a couple of minutes into the date that you have nothing in common.
- Be sure to dress well and appropriate
Plan the date and talk with your date about the dress code for the event you planned for. You would'nt want to embarrass yourself, if one either of you show up in a suit while the other wears casuals.
- Respect time
You definitely would'nt want your date to keep waiting for you. date. Organize yourself by getting directions, reach early, and this is definitely a great way to show that you care.
- Do not get drunk fully
Its understandable to get a few drinks to ease your tense, but drinking too much might reveal certain things about your personality and ruin everything.
- Do something different and interesting
Find an activity that both of you always wanted to do, but never did that would be interesting. This is a great way to find out that you two can share something that you have in common.
- Step up and dance
You do not have to be a great dancer to woo your date. Dancing is a great way to feel the spark between the two of you.
- Plan a nice dinner
You can just invite your date over for dinner, and make it really special. If you have to go out for dinner, you are entitled to think of topics to talk about for an hour or two. And that may not be easy, especially on the first date.
